RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be part of the development team deploying Java based business solutions, including development / implementation of content management based solutions.

They must have solid, verifiable development skills, be self motivated and customer focused, with the ability to follow through on all engagements.

• Maintain quality standards while performing due diligence with every project
• Ability to effectively manage multiple activities of varying complexity
• Work well under time constraints
• Present creative and effective solutions to a variety of challenges

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related IT field
• At least 4 years hands-on working experience in Java / J2EE technologies

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Java, JSP, JavaBeans, Servlets and Javascript
• Good understanding of MVC architecture
• Hands-on working experience with HTML, XML and Object Oriented methodologies.
• Experience in SQL (MySQL, Oracle, DB2 an Advantage) and Unix
• Preference to those with skills in  J2EE, Struts, Websphere and Solaris
• Must be detail oriented
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of Content Management Solutions a plus
